Beyonce and Jay-Z Welcome Daughter

One of the most powerful couples in the world just welcomed a little girl into the family! 

Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, on January 7th. 

Beyonce payed $1.3 million dollars to rent out an entire floor of Lenox Hill Hospital for the birth. The star couple took extra precautions before Beyonce went into labor. The two didn't want any photos to be leaked to the media, so nurses and doctors were not allowed to use cell phones during labor. Surveillance cameras were also turned off on the floor.
