Miley Cyrus' mom Tish has a crush on her daughters 19-year-old Australian boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. It's reported that she was the one who encouraged them to hook up while on the set of The Last Song this past summer.
In a new interview for Entertainment Tonight, Miley spilled the deets.
"I don't know who had a bigger crush on him at the beginning, my mom or me. My mom was like, 'No, he is cute--he is!'" Miley says.
"I was like, 'No, maybe he's just too pretty. I don't want to be with someone who's better looking than me. That's, like, awkward,'" the star recounts.
Not only that, but her mom, who was an executive producer on the set, was standing there for all the kissing scenes. Liam explained,
"Her mom was watching. Her grandma was also watching, which was really funny. [The grandma] was on set everyday and she'd be right at the monitor with the headphones on… She should have been directing the film. She knew more about it than anyone."
